1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They enable essential functions such as saving settings, ensuring technical stability or keeping items in the shopping cart. Some cookies are strictly necessary, while others support analytics or marketing purposes.
2. Types of cookies we use
We use the following two categories of cookies on our website:
(a) Strictly necessary cookies
These cookies are essential for the basic operation of our website.
They:
- store your cookie consent choice
- enable the shopping cart and checkout functions
- ensure proper display of content
- support security-related features
Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled because the website would not function properly without them.
(b) Optional cookies (with your consent)
Optional cookies are only set if you actively click “Accept” in our cookie banner.
This applies in particular to:
- tracking scripts
- marketing and analytics tags
- third-party tools loaded via the Google Tag Manager (GTM)
If you decline, the GTM will not be loaded and no optional cookies will be set.
Our cookie banner does not offer category-specific choices (e.g. “statistics”, “marketing”, “comfort”).
It follows an all-or-nothing approach:
You can either accept all optional cookies or decline them entirely.
3. How we use Google Tag Manager (GTM)
The Google Tag Manager is only activated if you have explicitly given your consent via the cookie banner.
- Without consent → GTM is completely blocked
- With consent → GTM is loaded and may provide third-party scripts
This ensures that optional cookies or tracking technologies are executed only after your consent.
4. Change your cookie settings
You can withdraw your consent or change your cookie settings at any time:
This link resets the local cookie_consent flag in your browser.
At your next visit, the cookie banner will appear again.
5. No fixed cookie list
Since our website is continuously being developed, and because all optional scripts are only loaded via the Google Tag Manager, the cookies used may vary over time.
For this reason, we do not provide a static list of all cookies.
Instead:
- strictly necessary cookies are always active
- optional cookies are only activated with your consent
- optional cookies run exclusively through GTM
This approach complies with GDPR requirements because cookies are classified in advance and technically controlled before being set.
