From what age are stroller chains suitable?

Stroller chains are suitable for babies from birth up to around 18 months. They are designed as visual and tactile toys for use on a stroller and support early sensory perception through movement, texture, and gentle sounds.

Thanks to interchangeable attachment elements and removable crocheted parts, individual elements can also be used independently from the stroller, for example as a soft rattle or for hanging in other suitable places. Use should always take place under supervision.

Which safety standards do the stroller chains meet?

Stroller chains are manufactured and tested in accordance with applicable European safety requirements for baby toys. They are made from tested, non-toxic materials, contain no small parts that could be swallowed, and are designed for safe use during infancy.

In addition, the stroller chains conform to the requirements of the ASTM Consumer Safety Specification for Toy Safety (ASTM F963). Product testing and verification have been carried out by an independent testing institute. Warning labels and safety information are provided in accordance with the respective market requirements.

What materials are the stroller chains made of?

The stroller chains consist of hand-crocheted elements made from cotton as well as untreated beech wood.

Depending on the model, either organic cotton (kbA) or conventional cotton is used. All materials are carefully selected and suitable for use with babies.

How are the stroller chains attached?

The stroller chains are supplied as standard with untreated wooden clips and are designed to fit common strollers and buggies. The length of the chain can be individually adjusted using a flexible loop.

For different attachment widths, the clips can be removed and the loop adjusted accordingly. Alternative attachment elements such as rings or clips are also available.

How do I properly care for the stroller chains?

The crocheted elements can be washed on a gentle cycle at 30 °C. Wooden elements such as clips or beads should not be washed, as wood may swell. These parts are best cleaned with a slightly damp cloth.
