Safety is an integral part of material selection, construction, and quality processes.

Standards & regulations (by product family)

Rules that protect

Relevant standards/regulations include (depending on the product) EN 71‑1/‑2/‑3 as well as additional norms.

For soother holders, DIN EN 12586 also applies.

Classification is carried out within the framework of the EU requirements for toys (Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC).

Testing institutes/labs

Independently tested in the lab

Depending on the product, SGS, Eurofins, and Intertek are used as laboratories; in addition, tests according to USA/ASTM are documented via Intertek.

“From birth (0+)” – explanation

Understanding age indications correctly

SindiBaba is aimed at parents with babies from birth (0+); some products are, in practical terms, more relevant from 3/6 months onward, but they are fundamentally tested for 0+.

Age recommendations and notes are specified for each individual product.
